Jaguar Maintenance

Complimentary Scheduled Maintenance Coverage for all 2016 and newer Jaguar models covers factory recommended scheduled maintenance as detailed in the Passport to Service for 5 years or 60,000 miles, whichever occurs first. Wear and tear items (e.g., brake pads and windshield wiper blades) are excluded.

A Service Interval Indicator appears every 16,000 miles or every 12 months, whichever occurs first, to tell you when necessary vehicle maintenance needs to be scheduled. In order to receive scheduled vehicle maintenance, you must bring your vehicle to Jaguar West Ashley within 1 month or 1,000 miles of the scheduled maintenance interval. Customers who do not bring their vehicle to a retailer within the required time for scheduled maintenance may not receive the missed interval service.

Some owners may wish to have their engine oil changed more frequently than required, should the vehicle have a high proportion of short journeys or operate in severe conditions. These extra services may be performed on a customer pay basis and the Service Interval Indicator will not be reset.

Prepaid maintenance services include:

• Replace engine oil and filter**
• Replace pollen filter**
• Replace air cleaner element**
• Replace brake fluid**
• Check/top up fluid levels (brake, coolant, windshield)
• Check battery condition, check/ top up electrolyte level
• Inspect brake pads for wear, calipers for leaks and disc condition
• Inspect tire pressures, conditions and tread depth
• Inspect for fluid leaks

**At specified maintenance interval.

Jaguar Maintenance Wear and Tear Plan includes the following Wear items in addition to the maintenance services listed above. Note that the number of replacements are limited based on the model and term of the plan purchased:

• Front Brake Pads (Set)
• Front Brake Disc (Set)
• Front Sensor
• Rear Brake Pads (Set)
• Rear Brake Disc (Set)
• Rear Sensor
• Driver Wiper Blades
• Passenger Wiper Blades

These pre-paid maintenance plans can be purchased prior to the first service interval – or financed with the cost of your vehicle at the time of purchase.

Lifetime BG Protection Plan™:

To qualify for full coverage (Plan 1), your first BG Automotive Maintenance Service must be performed before your vehicle reaches 36,000 miles. But don’t worry, if you’re a late joiner, you can still enjoy some of the benefits with Plan 2. To qualify for 50 percent coverage (Plan 2), your first BG Automotive Maintenance Service must be performed within 36,001 – 75,000 miles.
